Alex Girling is a real estate broker at Frontline Real Estate Services, specializing in industrial sales and leasing in the Fraser Valley. Working closely with Todd Bohn and Braydon Hobbs, Alex supports the industrial sector with research, analysis, processes, business development, and marketing.
As a self-proclaimed nerd, Alex enjoys crunching the numbers to solve real estate problems and uncover localized trends to provide intel and dynamic, data-driven solutions to clients. His educational background and work experience at BC Housing, City of Surrey, and UBC Properties Trust have equipped him with analytical knowledge in multiple facets of real estate while his problem-solving skills, creative approaches, and tireless work ethic make him an invaluable member of the industrial sector.
Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Alex graduated from Simon Fraser University, where he earned his BSc in Geography. After graduation, he took a 14-month backpacking trip abroad before permanently returning home to British Columbia. In addition to his BSc and Real Estate Trading Services License, Alex has completed the Diploma of Urban Land Economics at UBC.
Outside of work, Alex is an accomplished public speaker, advocating for various youth mental health initiatives. He enjoys exploring BC’s nature whether hiking, camping, or getting out on the water.
